Beautiful lips for all women with lips (sorry khajiits and Argonians)
"Pretty Lips" by Danariel
NOTE: This only affects the edges of the "lipstick" area, not the color or size of the lips themselves. I chose a larger mouth for the screenshot to better show off the texture. If you select Smaller Mouth in Character Creation, you will have a smaller mouth. This is the same lip effect as Xenius's Detailed Lips did, but required corrections on my own (preserving the wetness of the upper lip, placing the lipstick in the center of the lips instead of moving it to the right of the character, doesn't change the original shape - in Nords.)
When Xenius launched his mod Detailed Lips, I noticed the jagged edges on the lips. I tried his mod, but there are some issues I want to fix. I tried modifying his Nord file but still felt like some basic characters were missing from the original file.
I then extracted the original Nord Light Mask from .BSA and got to work. I increased the resolution, smoothed out jagged edges, and kept the basic shape the same. You still get the "lip liner" effect, which is darker around the outer edge of the lip, and the lip color retains the richness of the original, but the edges are smoother.
I can also keep the uptilt on the upper lip and make sure the tone map is positioned correctly on the lip.
Then, I decided to see how this tinted mask performed on lips and lipsticks of other ethnicities (sorry, Kajits and Argonians!). One thing I hate about Wood Elves is that their lipsticks don't seem to cover the entire lips. To my surprise, they look great! So this mod now works on Nords, Empire, Bretons, Redguards, Wood Elves, Dark Elves and High Elves. If you like one race but not others, feel free to delete the files for the unwanted races.
Install:
Extract your Skyrim installation folder to Steam/steamapps/common/skyrim.
Uninstall:
Delete the tintmask folder under Steam/steamapps/common/skyrim/Data/textures/character/character assets, or delete individual match files from that folder.

This does the same thing for lips that Xenius' Detailed Lips does, with my own fixes (retains the dip in the upper lip, centers the lipstick on the lips instead of off to the character's right, doesn't change the original shape - on Nords.)

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
