3 hours later, you're in Blackreach, using a Whiteboy Battleaxe instead of that glorious green.
coin
What if you could...then "purchase" the ingot directly and immersively? Welcome to this script free lil batch package. It doesn't get any simpler than this.
Add batch files for all SSE VANILLA projects
handmade materials
Whenever there is time, whenever there is time, Gems Wip will do more
Tome of Magic
Weapons
armor
Miscellaneous
Install by dragging and dropping the .txt file into the SKYRIM folder instead of the data folder.
Open the console in game
Write "Bat X" - replace X with whatever item you want, no spaces.
Example "Bat ironingot" will give you an iron ingot and remove coins equal to base value x3 (iron ingot is 21)
All bat files are the exact names copied from here but with the spaces removed. Therefore, snow bear fur will become "bat snowflake skin" and refined malachite will become "bat refined malachite"
There is also a chat version and a TME version. Or rather, there is a good version and a vanilla version, because if you don't have DanielUA's "real medieval economy" then what are you even doing? Hello?
The price of the TME version varies between 3x the base value and 5x the base value.
All values are taken from Here.
The Dragonborn DLC needs to be in Load Order 4 to work.
-The TME version doesn't require the mod itself, it just adjusts the price based on DanielUAs script.
If you need to pay a fee for each transaction, there's also a paid version for the more immersive hungry ones.
The cost is 20 gold for vanilla and 150 gold for TME version.
This means that no matter what console you "buy", no matter what it is, there will always be an additional cost of 20/150 gold.
There is also a cheater's version, but we won't talk about that
What if I can't afford these things?
This forces the game to withdraw x amount of gold from your inventory
If you can't "buy" your stuff, you'll be in debt.
Would you call this immersion friendly? You are cheating! ! ! !
Okay..no? yes? IDK depends on how you look at it. Not just cheating, yes. Think of it like a fence item. You can buy stuff from legitimate merchants...are you really the only one doing that? are you sure? Who knows. Only Bethesda can decide if everyone else in Skyrim won't use the regular merchant/blacksmith as a fence.
However, this gives you the option to purchase the lost item. Frankly, you're doing this in Adrianne's forge 99% of the time anyway.
Anything purchased using a batch file will always be more expensive than what you'll find at a merchant, especially if you use a paid version like mine. It's more fun that way.
If you're not cheating the entire game, this isn't the place to buy items anyway. Much cheaper to buy from merchants/find it in the wild. TME's keels are increased by 15x, bringing them to 20k+ with a value of 3x. Not really "worth" it, but you have a choice.
Can I add an X?
yes. But unless I've planned it, I probably won't. Make it yourself!
Can you add X from X mod?
No, I don't know your load order.
The price is too high/low for me!
good? Adjust them however you see fit. I'm happy with these settings.
"I can use your..."
yes. No credit required. It's a batch file, meaning anyone can do it. I just got bored and sent it to everyone.
Can you *insert any information about TME here*
No. I haven't modified the mod at all, and technically it has nothing to do wit …
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
