About this mod Machine translation

A new town in the Winterhold region, recently started around an ebony mine

A few years ago, just before the Civil War began, an ebony mine was discovered at a site in Winterhold. Because Ebony was so panicked, some saw this as an opportunity to make money, and with the blessing of Jarl of Winterhold, a new town was founded. The town even held an official opening ceremony and everything seemed to go well. Until one day, an avalanche destroyed the hotel, Fletcher's store and his house. The innkeeper decided to move into the old fort located in the city and renamed it the Old Fort Inn (now a unique inn in Skyrim) until he had enough money to build a new shop and house. The fletcher was also set up to shop at the inn. He's still very upset and grumpy about the whole thing, so don't expect a conversation from him.

There is also the Baggert family in the town, and after the death of his wife and mother, he decided to move here with his daughter and start over.

The Mulan family who discovered the mine were also foremen and were still trying to make a fortune. He will buy your ore from you.

Taiven's family comes from Winterhold where he was the town blacksmith (now you know why Winterhold doesn't have blacksmiths anymore) and opened a blacksmith to service the town and mine. His wife, a retired mage tutor at the College of Winterhold, opened the town's first official magic shop. Since she's so close to the Academy, she has all kinds of magical goodies to sell, which is very convenient for people looking for magic items, but who wouldn't want to join the Academy just to get their stock.

The Engmensen family was lucky that the avalanche just missed their house. He worked in the mines, and while his wife was an apprentice alchemist to Riften, he started a small garden and sold alchemy.

Inside the mine, they discover a friendly jackal living there. They called him Sam and gave him his name: Jackal Mine

Now you can share this lovely new town Badersee in your skyrim too.

This is another town mode I did for Skyrim, the idea was that it had to feel like it was originally a part of Skyrim. So nothing fancy here. That in no way means it's not a fun town. It does have some charm and unique features, especially on a clear night. There are very few towns in Winterhold, so this one fits in nicely with another town I have in the same town: Overstead.

If you like this mod, then please ENDORSE so we can spread the joy!

notes

Always save and back up your save files before trying a new mod!

I haven't added any scripts to this mod, so the file should be safe. I did adjust the terrain and navmesh. I didn't change the vanilla nav, I just moved it away and handmade my own new navnet for my town.

Most NPCs are essential, so they can't die. That's the way I like it.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
