Description/Introduction
Greetings, friends! This invites you to enjoy this clever mod. Trust Khajiit, he won't lie!
Welcome to the Bad Ass Khajiit speaking Redux mod! ! ! Wow!
This mod is a complete reboot of the awesome Khajiit Speak SE mod (written by mjharper), rewritten from the ground up.
It changes PC dialog options to make the game more immersive for Khajiit Player Character. It should also (hopefully) have all the fixes the original mod missed.
Master file for Skyrim SE, Dawnguard, Heathfire and Dragonborn.
Once completed, additional modules will be added as optional downloads (see the "To Do" section at the bottom).

So I used mjharper's original mod and loved it! It's clear that a huge amount of effort went into getting this done, and I respect that (and now, I'm putting even more effort into it myself)!
However, there are some issues that were never resolved in the author's absence. Furthermore, because the author does not have a license to share the work, others cannot simply update their work (or only themselves). So I made the questionable decision to rebuild this puppy from scratch - as crazy as it sounds...
So, what makes my mod different? I adopted some general "rules" for how I envisioned Khajiit speaking - and then deployed these rules throughout the dialog. Not just the main topics the PCs "said", but also the responses to all prompts (most of the original KS got no responses).
I built this dialog completely myself using my own dialog box. I'm sure there will be some similar phrases and word overlap between the original word and this word, but I did not intentionally quote, copy, or use mjharper's ideas in making this word. Any resemblance is purely coincidental!
Here are some interesting numbers:
Main Topic Dialog Lines = 26,136 (This is what the creation kit extracted for Skyrim + all expansions)
BA modified primary subject lines = 15,761
Number of dialog lines to prompt = 2,965
BA modified prompt dialog lines = 2,570
So...um...yeah this is a helluvalotta dialog for you to filter through. Granted, a lot of these lines are duplicates (for example, there are 351 lines that just say "What are you selling?"), but still! That's helluvalotta OK! If I could, I'd provide *some* variety in the above duplicate situation.
Here are my seven (7) "rules":
- There is no first person title.

in conclusion
So there you have it. My Khajiit Speak Redux mod has a very long shell (maybe one of those mutant nut shells that has three peanuts in one shell instead of two)? ...
Hope you like it! Feel free to comment and point out anything I may have missed, or is grammatically incorrect (for Khajiit).
Farewell, friend. Khajiit wishes you good luck... [/ font]

Install
- Download and install via your favorite Mod Manager.
- Read the included readme file for installation instructions or other information. I understand the irony of including the installation steps in a readme file, which will only be read if someone opens the readme file first. Act quickly and do as I command! ! :)

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
