Axes Chop Wood!

(Implementation of ColossusX13’s idea about Reddit)
You can now wander over to any wood pile or chopping block and hit it with an ax to obtain firewood, which is silently added to your inventory.
3 versions included in download
axis only
- Any regular attack with an ax will generate 1 firewood
*Any ax power attack will generate 2 firewood
ax + dagger
- Attack with dagger strength to give 1 firewood (this is called hitting, haha)
Axis + any sharp weapon
*Any sharp weapon attack will generate 1 firewood (added upon request)
Since attacking the wood pile is several times faster than activating it, I reduced the output. It is still possible to pile up a decent amount of firewood with some effort.
Modder's notes:
This is harder than it should be because the onHit event doesn't pass the boolean powerattack properly, so there isn't an easy way to check if the player is smashing the wood pile.

Axes Only
- Regular Attacks with any axe give 1 firewood
- Power Attacks with any axe give 2 firewood
Axes + Daggers
- Power Attacks with a dagger give 1 firewood (this is called batoning, lol)
Axes + Any sharp weapons
- Power Attacks with any sharp weapon yield 1 firewood (added by request)
Because attacking the woodpile is multiple times faster than activating it I have reduced the yield. It is still possible to rack up a considerable amount of firewood with a some effort.
Modder's Notes:
This was way harder than it should have been because the onHit event doesn't properly pass the boolean powerattack, so there is not a simple way to check whether the player is powerattacking the woodpile.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
