Introduction
You just downloaded a sweet armor mod from Connect, and realized it's only available through a crafting recipe or a small chest in Riverwood. You want it to appear naturally in your game but lack the knowledge or, more likely, the willpower to manually add it to all the appropriate level lists. You've come to the right place.
Automatic horizontal list addition is a script aptly named xEdit that reduces all aspects of item integration to a single click..and more! If this mod is so simple why does it have so many damn buttons? ! ? I created a video covering the feature explained below, but ~90%+ of users only want the "OK" button.
You can think of this script as a smashed item patcher.
FAQ
-How does this mode differ from the smashed patch?
This script makes items compatible with horizontal lists. A patch for Smashed/Smashed and then made level lists compatible with each other.
-What is the difference between this mod and the mod? Lootification?
Lootification uses SkyProc patches and some kind of XML database for editing. The changes made by this mod are more stable, more compatible, and have more options than mods like Lootification. This mod does not use a database or a static set of lists; this mod dynamically detects and adds horizontal lists in a way not provided anywhere else.
-This mode works with SkyAI?
My module is similar to SkyAI, both xEdit scripts, but adds to all horizontal lists (not just select lists) and generates charming versions/recipes. It also doesn't limit the number of items you can include.

How it works:
This menu will allow you to select items for editing in this and other menus. This menu also allows you to change the relevant game values of the currently selected record. Changes to game values and/or male/female only scripts will be saved when switching between items or pressing the OK button.
Male/female only scripts will add the item's vanilla counterpart to the mesh of the opposite gender. For example, let's say this script is run on female-only armor, with 'Daedric' level armor values. Any male character wearing this armor will look like he's wearing vanilla Daedric armor. Any female character wearing this armor will still use the custom female-specific armor mesh.
Alternatively, you can add the 'FemaleOnly' keyword, or add 'FemaleOnly' to the Armor EditorID, and this script will run automatically as …
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
