About this mod Machine translation
Allows you to melt Auriel's Bow into a new integrated and fully functional crossbow. ESL tag.
This mod is a streamlined, tweaked and ported version of Ghosu's Auriel Crossbow and Swords mod. Ghosu retired from modding a while ago but have kindly opened up their mods as a resource for mods. This mod aims to integrate the key weapon Auriel's Crossbow into the game as seamlessly as possible. It also includes included bolt and flutter models.
So, what does this mod do?
Once you've completed the Dawnguard questline and earned the Arcane Blacksmith perk, you can weld the pieces of Auriel's Bow together at the forge. For this you will also need fine moonstone and daedra heart.
If you have acquired the Arcane Blacksmith perk, you can also smelt the Sunblessed and Bloodcursed Elven Arrows by smelting their respective arrows. This has nothing to do with missions, they serve a different purpose than added crossbows.
Auriel's Crossbow functions like a bow and arrow, with the corresponding bolt producing a sunlight effect. The crossbow can be fused back to the bow at the forge, which requires fire salt and daedra hearts.

This module is ESL tagged.
Optional files to reduce forgery requirements were added in 1.1. With it, the Arcane Blacksmith perk is no longer required, and requires fewer materials. Obviously, the main Dawnguard questline still has to be completed.
If you're just looking for a straight SE port without any integrated mods, Korodic has one right here.
I highly recommend using this mod with Questing's Special Perks, which can add more certainty at the end of the main questline. When you receive the Dawnguard perk, you can now also choose a custom bow.

This mod is a stripped-down, tweaked, and ported version of Ghosu's Auriel Crossbow and Swords mod. Ghosu retired from modding a while back, but kindly opened up their mods as modders' resources. This mod aims to integrate the key weapon, Auriel's Crossbow, into the game as seamlessly as possible. It also includes accompanying bolt and quiver models.
So, what does this mod do?
Once the Dawnguard questline has been completed and the Arcane Blacksmith perk has been acquired, the crossbow can be welded together from Auriel's Bow at a forge. For this, you will also require refined moonstone and a daedra heart.
Sunhallowed and Bloodcursed Elven Bolts can also be forged from melting down their respective arrows, if the Arcane Blacksmith perk has been acquired. This is not quest-dependent, and they function apart from the added crossbow.
Auriel's Crossbow functions just as the bow does, with the sun effects occurring with the corresponding bolts. The crossbow can be melded back to the bow at a forge, requiring fire salts and a daedra heart.

The mod is ESL-Flagged.
An optional file to reduce the forge requirements has been added in 1.1. With it, Arcane Blacksmith perk is no longer required, and less materials are needed. The main Dawnguard questline still must be completed, obviously.
If you're looking just for a straight SE port of the mod with no integration, Korodic has made one here.
I highly suggest you accompany this mod with something like Special Perks from Questing, which adds more finality to the end of major questlines. When you receive the Dawnguard perk, you'll also now have the option to customize the bow.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
