About this mod Machine translation
Atronach Stone overhaul features new active and passive effects.
Hello; I've made this little mod for a friend and after 1 day of play testing it seems to work fine. If you add a game in the middle of a character without the effect of any active [or passive] flag, it shouldn't break anything. It should also be safe to uninstall after switching to any Sign other than Atronach.
I have some problems writing in English so this may not be easy to read. There may be errors in decryption etc.
Atronach Stone in Skyrim is a straight-haired lover who doesn't need any responsibility and is so boring.
New Atronach Stone effects:
Absorb Spells: 25p [Passive]
Simple preference settings and you now have a 1 in 4 chance.
Enhanced Magicka 800p. [passive]
Yes, so many. You are the vessel and you can accumulate magicka like no one else. Magicians need to train for a lifetime to reach this level.
However, please read below...
Damage Magicka Regen 850p. [passive]
You cannot restore Magicka naturally.
[This means the Magickal battery capacity you need is…. Well, the entire six-piece armor set comes with over +125% Magicka Regen attached. ]
Atronach's Curse: Consumes Magicka 2.5-20/s [Passive]
You are an imperfect vessel, and like all vessels, you have leaks - in this case, Magicka. You can't hold the power supply for long, drain it, and it will burn
Faster when you have more stuff.
[You lose 2.5/s below 25%, 5/s below 50%, 10/s below 75%, and 20/s above 75%. There are optional versions and you won't lose Magicka under 25%]
Atronach's Curse: Damages health. [passive]
When the strength of Magicka exceeds 50%, the power loss of about 20% will burn your flesh and become an irresistible injury.
Diffusion curse: absorb magic [active-less power-cloak effect]
You can happily control the output and unleash the hunger of Atronach. This will damage your health in the 90s and deplete Magicka's killing power in just over 15 seconds.
[Due to its violent nature, it does harm everyone including neutral NPCs]
Alleviate Pain [Active-Ritual Spell]
You can charm Atronach for a short period of time, allowing you to think clearly, sleep, travel, and more. This removes the damaging effects of Atronach's curse
Also slow down Magicka leaks. Cannot remove burns from the "Spread Curse" skill.
Errors/Problems:
waiting for feedback
[Not a bug] Fast travel, sleep, wait, etc. don't work - take the pain away and try again. Skyrim won't allow these things when you take damage, and the main purpose of the mod is to build on the ongoing damage health effect...
[Not a bug] This mod uses a very simple script [feature toggles] and constant effects [3 of them] to check your Magicka %. Technically this would increase the load slightly, like having three very small active scripts. Under no circumstances should this be noticed.
Compatibility:
Any tool that does not affect the content of the standing stone - can be modified to add new powers. If you only change the power supply, it should be compatible.
Almost everything is due to very narrow variations.

Hello; I've made this little mod for a friend and after 1 day of playtesting it seems working. It should not break anything if added mid-game on character without any active [or passive] Signs' effects. It also should be possible to safely uninstall after switching to any Sign other than Atronach.

Yes, that much. You are The Vessel, you can amass magicka like no one else. Mages need to train for whole lives just to reach this level.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
