Since it doesn't identify any version of the atlas map markers (either in the UK or in Germany), which works for me in SSE, and having a search function is important to me and a compass setup (as I'm using from LE), I went on Kronixx's 2014er version based on a patch that worked without SkyUi's search and setup options via the MCM.
The Open City version is (still?) not included, nor is there a choice of color or size of symbols on the map. I took out everything and it didn't work for me or blocked the search functionality.
Still, I think it's good, the icons on the map are not too big but not too small, the compass can be set, and the most important thing for me is the search function for synonyms of fluppt.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
