About this mod Machine translation
A lightweight death mode with many features that can be customized within MCM, including damage, item loss chance, lives, and permadeath. Stop saving scum and face the consequences of your failure like a true northerner...or whatever race you are.
All the difficulty and RPG modes in the world are pointless if you have to reload a save and try again. It's a fair and simple mode that allows you to play gloriously and face the consequences of what you feel are just for the sake of dying. All options can be adjusted in MCM at any time.
current features
Set your spawning point by getting 4+ hours of sleep.
Lock your position at the spawn point with a spell. Doubles as a mark and recall spell since you can come back without dying.
Definite experience, death to the next skill level.
Choose the percentage of gold and items lost on death. Your lost items are mysteriously found and sold by Belethor.
Choose between two injury systems that allow recovery.
Simple damage results in a 25 point adjustment to H/M/S on death.
Late damage is borrowed from that of wild cats, but is not very different.
Selectable PermaDeath option with customizable number of lives.
Choose a chance of permanent death, no matter how many people are left.

Defects/Compatibility
You should turn off killing players. The player's death move will not cause any damage.
Dying in the same cell as your spawn point will cause you to respawn on the spot. Please set your spawn point at an inn or home, not in a dungeon.
There may be situations where more adjustments to the player may be necessary. However, there shouldn't be any major issues.
Should be compatible with mods that give you extra lives, necessary to temporarily make you "extra lives". However, depending on the author's implementation, it might just result in you not being able to die.
Compatible with anything on Nirn.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
