About this mod Machine translation

Add custom animations to Daedric artifact Wabbajack.

describe

Artifact Animation Replacer - Wabbajack Add custom animations to your custom artifact Wabbajack with Felisky's dynamic animation replacer. Currently, idle and cast animations are implemented for left and right handed use by employees. For walking and running animations I recommend using the YY animation replacer - Mystic Knight.

Wielding a Wabbajack now gives you some of Prince Dadric's insane talents, and those who use his staff will sometimes burst into laughter while holding it down (not that it sounds pathetic, as this requires fiddling with behavior profiles).

I just started learning how to animate a few days ago, so some animations may not be completely smooth (like the laugh when the right hand is idle). I will update these animations as I work on other projects.

Watch the video for an animated overview. NOTE: The magic animation comes from the Mystic Knight animation replacer.

Install

First, make sure you have the requirements installed. Then just place the file in your data folder or install it using your favorite mod manager.

compatibility

Not compatible with other mods using folder numbers 666 and 667 in the _CustomConditions folder. To fix this problem, just rename the folder to a different number.

Description

Artifact Animation Replacer - Wabbajack makes use of Felisky's Dynamic Animation Replacer to add custom animations to the daedric artifact Wabbajack. Currently idle and casting animations are implemented for left and right handed use of the staff. For walking and running animations, I recommend YY animation replacer - Mystic Knight.

Now wielding Wabbajack gives you some of the mad flair of the Daedric Prince of Madness, and those who use his staff will sometimes burst out laughing while holding it (without sounds sadly, as that requires fiddling with behaviour files).

Some animations might not be perfectly smoothed out (e.g. the laugh in the right handed idle) as I've only started learning how to animate a couple of days ago. I will update these animations as I learn while working on other projects.

See the video for an overview of the animations. NOTE: Magic animations come from the Mystic Knight animation replacer.

Installation

First, make sure you have the requirements installed. Then just drop the files in your data folder, or install with your favourite mod manager.

Compatibility

Incompatible with other mods that use the folder numbers 666 and 667 in the _CustomConditions folder. To resolve this, simple rename the folders to other numbers.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
