About this mod Machine translation

Added more variety and lore-friendly clothing options, and gave NPCs more appropriate clothing.

This model was developed as an extension and tribute to. Weapons Armor Clothing & Clutter Repair and Country Clothing. Its main goals are to add more variety and lore-friendly armor and clothing options, as well as giving specific NPCs gear that better suits them.

feature

Added more variety in the costumes available in the game and the NPCs wearing them.

Change the equipment of some NPCs to make them more suitable for their military rank and status.

New Giles and their appointees would change into more appropriate clothing when they took over these roles during the Civil War.

Option to give clothing items a limited armor value.

Prerequisites

Weapon armor clothing & clutter fixes are required.

Country clothing is required in order to maintain consistency with the added textures and normal maps.

Patios must use MCM.

Load this mod after weapon armor and clutter fixes.

If you wish to use one of the optional texture resolutions, install it after the main file and allow it to replace the original .bsa file.

Allows the WACCF_Armor&Clothes extension to override textures from Rustic clothing.

As with any SkyRIM add-on, there is no method of uninstalling ESP files from an existing save that is guaranteed to be safe. It is recommended that you start a new game whenever you remove the plugin from your load order, otherwise revert to the save before installing this mod.

clothing choices

New mage boots have been added to match different levels of mage robes.

Removed fur trim from female mage hoods so they now look similar to the male versions. New fur-trimmed hoods were added as separate items and can be worn by both men and women.

Replaced Iron and Ancient Northern Helmets so that they will appear equally male and female. A women's version has been added as a new variant that can be worn by both men and women.

Various mage robes (New Cloth of Transformation, Robes of Enchantment, Adept Robes of Destruction, etc.) now have unique textures that reflect their individual magic and level from novice to expert.

Many clothing items now offer a small amount of protection, especially quilts or thick layered garments that appear to have leather or chain mail components. Realistically, these clothes should be at least as protective as some of the lighter vanilla armor, and I've tried to balance their value. NOTE: This feature is optional and disabled by default. Armor clothing is still considered clothing: it doesn't increase your armor skill, it doesn't level up as your armor skill increases, and it can't be improved. Currently, this feature only works for players, but I may expand it to NPC options in the future.

Dress up

Now, the wizards of the court will wear uniforms that reflect their schools of magic.

Priests and priestesses of the temples of Talos, Kynaris, Dibella, Azura, and Diwayne wear robes of new, unique textures. The priests of Akay wear brown robes and brown turbans, while the priests of Mara wear plain robes with yellow turbans. Appropriate holy amulets have been added to the priest's equipment.

Their stewards and reservists will now wear clothing that better reflects the rank and loyalty of these NPCs. The Ironframes of the Imperial Alliance will wear Imperial-style clothing, while those of the Storm Alliance will wear Nordic-style clothing. Typically, the costumes and armor of those who were ordained would be better and more expensive than those of the puppets. When JARLS and their courts are replaced during the Civil War, the replacement NPCs will now have equipment upgrades to reflect their new level and status.

There are now several unique children's clothes that are more suitable for their background.

Gendarmerie magistrates wore new chain robes and hoods. Vigilant costumes have also been reworked so that they breed matching steel boots and bracers rather than a mismatch of different styles. If wet and cold are installed, the vigi …

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
