About this mod Machine translation
Changed a lot of armor to look like mages, as well as armor originally intended for mages. to 0 armor and no armor class armor, such as Morokei Mask
Changed a lot of armor to look like mages, as well as armor originally intended for mages. Set to 0 armor and no armor class, such as the Moroki Mask from light armor class to no armor class, and set the mask from 5 armor class to 0.
I always thought some mages looked weird with armor. Has armor classifications and armor levels, for example some courier armor pieces are set to heavy and light armor and have armor levels. But they mostly attack you with magic. So you can't even say they are magic swords.
When designing this mod and modifying items, keep pure mage playstyle and/or spell-using characters in mind. Like Oakflesh and Stoneflesh, it's a primary source of armor and expect to get the additional armor perks from those spells.
So far this mod changes the following items:
Version 1.0:
Moroki's mask changes from light armor level to unarmor level and is set to 0 armor level.
The Cultist Gauntlets change from light armor level to unarmored and set armor level to 0.
The Cultist Mask changes from heavy armor level to unarmored level and is set to 0 armor level.
Miraak gloves change from light armor level to unarmor level and set armor level to 0.
Miraak Boots change from light armor level to unarmored and set to 0 armor level.
Version 1.1 Alpha:
The reason it was in Alpha at that time is because when I went to make sure the changes to the mask took effect. When I generate the masks using the console, they are not visible in the manifest. However, I can see the weight being carried increasing, so that's a bit weird to me. So this requires more testing. You can use 1.1 Alpha if you want, although I think editing via iv only will be safer than sorry, I don't think anything bad will happen and I recommend waiting. I can't tell if the changes to this mask take effect until I kill Miraak in my current playthrough.
Mirayak Mask (light armor only) is changed from light armor category to unarmored and set to 0 armor level.

Changes a lot of Mage looking armor, and armor that was meant for a mage. To 0 Armor and no armor Classification such as Morokei's Mask from Light Armor Classification to None Armor Classification, and sets the mask from 5 Armor Rating to 0.
I always thought it was odd, that some of the mage looking armor. Had armor classifications and an armor rating, such as a few of the cultist armor pieces are set to heavy and light armor and have an armor rating. yet they attack you mostly with magic. so you can't even say they were spell swords.
this mod is being designed, and items modified, with pure mage playthroughs in mind, and or characters that use spells. Like Oakflesh and Stoneflesh as there main armor source and want to get the extra armor bonus perks for those spells.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
