About this mod Machine translation
Replace Nirn's twin moons with more traditional luminous lunar bodies.
"Operation Jove, sir. We took out the second moon."
Replaced Masser and Secunda with a single, bright, pale moon while adding a luminous effect.
While somewhat (considerably) larger than our own local moon, and sharing its appearance, the size is reduced to be closer to our own than the looming giant vanilla moon.
Contains replacement textures for Masser, moonshadow and Secunda, as well as a small scriptless .esp to modify the size of Masser and eliminate Secunda from the sky.
The appearance and severity of corona effects will depend heavily on cloud cover and ENB [sky] settings. Recommended to be close to the default moon intensity and a curve with high moon saturation, or at least that's what I came up with.
If you have existing mods that depend on Masser's cycle, as far as I know they should be unaffected. The thing about relying on Secunda, I don't know, they might not be happy about it. Find out. If you are a pilgrim with a special relationship with the moon, then you are probably used to this, and you are more than welcome to modify it to suit your lifestyle choices.
While the assets included here are entirely original, this mod clearly reverses the approach used by Isoku's Moon Glow and akindain's No Secunda, and you can choose one or both of them.
Therefore, I would like to thank both authors.
Porting to SE leads idk I guess it must.
Have fun, be kind and compliment someone today and they will appreciate it.

"Operation Jove, sir. We take out the second moon."

Replaces Masser and Secunda with a single, bright, pale moon, also adding a luminous effect.
While somewhat (considerably) larger than our own local moon, and sharing its appearance, size is reduced to be closer to our own rather than the looming, colossal vanilla moons.
Contains replacement textures for Masser, moonshadow, and Secunda, and a small, scriptless.esp to modify the size of Masser and eliminate Secunda from the sky.
Appearance and severity of the corona effect will depend greatly on cloud cover, and your ENB [sky] settings. Near to default moon intensity and curve with a high moondesaturation are recommended, or at least what I had in mind.
If you have existing mods which depend on the cycle of Masser, they should remain unaffected, as far as I know. Things which depend on Secunda, I don't know, they probably won't be happy. Find out. If you are the type of pilgrim who has a special relationship with the moon however, you are probably used to this, and are very welcome to make the modifications your lifestyle choices demand.
While the assets contained herein are entirely original, this mod blatantly reverse engineers methods utilised by Isoku's Moon Glow, and akindain's No Secunda, either or both of which you may alternatively enjoy.
As a result, I extend thanks to both authors.
Ported to SE cause idk I guess one has to.
Have fun, be nice, compliment someone today, they will appreciate it.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
