About this mod Machine translation
I tried to recreate the atmosphere of the Golden Coast in the Sky while giving it my own twist, which translated into new "bespoke" buildings and locations.
Hi, I'm Pedro, a history geek and aspiring architect, new to modelling and loving oblivion, hence my interest in sky-rocketing projects. To my regret, I finished almost nothing with this submission, only a very rough sketch. This application is driven by this document and a more detailed explanation of it on my IMGER page (link below) and the 2 books you will find on reaching new world spaces. To access it, I looked for a single-placed door at the entrance to Riverwood, looking for buildings and "Capital City" (a door near a waterfall that gives access to a separate cell), and I summoned different walls and assets from the vanilla game to create new structures similar to my own, looking at what the buildings of Cologne (Chorus/Singler), Red Guard, and Mediterranean (leaning more Byzantine) might look like. As for the land itself, the areas closer to the coast are more developed, namely to the northeast and east. Since I don't like very rugged landscapes on the horizon (ironically, I live in a very rugged place), I tried to make a flatter or more sloping land, like Are between Kvatch and Anvil, albeit larger and with more variety. The capitals I mentioned before are again a mixture of the styles I mentioned above, Too much reliance on the chorus. Regardless of the setbacks, I hope you enjoy it.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
