Talaria was my first attempt at a companion mod. When I couldn't find a companion with red hair and green eyes that I liked, I decided to do her. Update: APACHII SKY HAIR version added!
-INTRO/info-
Talaria was my first companion mod, and I hope to do more with her as I get more familiar with the Creation Kit.
The reason for her creation was simple: I wanted a redhead with green eyes, confident, brave, and with a lighter look on the eyes.
You can find her in "The Lonely Blinking Swordsman".
She's eligible for marriage, but she uses very little dialogue, but she's not mute and uses vanilla threads for a variety of topics.
She uses vanilla assets, so any mod that can change the body mesh/texture and eye texture will work.
-notes-
If you read this story, thank you for reading. I wish I knew more about Creation Kit so I could realize the personality and have a dialogue with her story.
If you know how to do it, please feel free to hit me up and teach me so I can improve this mod as well as future mods.
If you have any questions please leave a comment and I'll try to answer them.
-story-
Talaria is a 30-year-old emperor who is no stranger to battle.
Early Life (4E 171-4E 180): Talaria's age = 9 years.
Talaria was born in Cyrodiil, in the heart of the Imperial City, on the tenth day of Tirdas, the twilight of the fourth quarter of the year 171 AD.
Talaria grew up amid some major changes in the Empire, and the streets that were once filled with people other than Mer began to change, which seemed to bring more Mer into the city. Her father was an Imperial Instructor in the Imperial Guard and Legion, and her mother was a bard who traveled to all the taverns, inns, and inns in the Imperial City. Growing up in the Heart of the Empire had a certain patriotic influence on Tralia, and she always looked up to soldiers and guards in their honorable and heroic form, which she also saw when she met her father.
Tragedy (4E 183-4E 186): Talaria's age = 13-16 years.
On a particularly dark, rainy day, Talaria was on her way to the documentation, watching the ripples of water droplets as they hit the water's surface. To her surprise, her father is already there, presumably patrolling or dealing with new recruits, or she doesn't care, she is happy to see her father, but as she starts walking toward him, a group of covert figures (five people) approach her father. Talaria, a curious young man, walked towards a pile of barrels to watch this bizarre gathering. At first they seemed to be talking, albeit oddly, but the figures began to surround her father slightly as his patience seemed to wear thin. Then within seconds, a figure swings her fist at her father, one of the Empire's best unarmed warriors, grabbing the figure by his hands and elbows and kicking the figure in the chest as he pulls the arm. The one who had initiated the attack yelled as he held his now limp arm, the other four trying to gain redemption for their injured ally, but without success. One person helps the insured, taking him out of contention, while the other three go on the offensive. The first of the three remaining figures attempted to kick Talaria's father, but her father effortlessly moved and struck the figure on the left cheek before grabbing the figure's head and raising his knees to meet the figure's chin, This brings the character towards the ground. The injured one yelled to the others in Talarian's unintelligible language, but from what happened next, she thought he said, "Get him so we can finish!" The other two figures who were still standing attacked her father at the same time, both kicking him in the back of his knees, knocking him to the ground, and then two grabbed him with their hands and elbows, while the injured figure brought out a dagger from his father. Sleeve approaches her father and says something, but not before the character shoves the blade into her father's neck, saying something Talaria says loud and clear. "Take away my life and my days, but th …
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
