Anvily is an independent follower specializing in destructive magic for Skyrim SE
Cunning, a mage with a hidden past
Sources from Skyrim Frontier say Anvily is a Redguard mage, although this is unconfirmed as she wears a mask. Sources also say that she is very proficient in the use of Destruction Magic.
Stay away from her at all costs because not only is she dangerous, but she may have a deadly contagious disease!
Backstory:
A noble family lived a difficult life in the High Elf capital of the Summerset Isles. She was one of the many maidens of a revered wizard who was known to be a prominent Thalmor supremacist. She (the wizard) can be very strict and aggressive in her pursuit of imposing discipline on the races she considers to be beneath her.
After the White-Gold Concordat was officially signed, she would continue to refuse to accept the treaties of the "lesser races" and continually lash out at her slaves, one of whom was Anvily's mother. In the years following the treaty, slaves were overworked beyond physical exhaustion. Soon after, the slaves decided to formulate a plan to escape captivity.
During the escape, the plan fell apart after a slave notified the wizard beforehand, hoping to gain his favor. Many slaves died during the escape, one of whom was Anvily's mother. Who sacrificed himself so that Anvily could escape and live a better life. Anvily witnesses her mother's death, causing Anvily to go into a rage - where she burns, freezes and disbands every member of the Wizard's guard, including the Wizard himself, who suffers a slow and painful death.
Anvily traveled throughout the lands of Tamriel, and finally made Skyrim her home. She now regularly studies and studies magic at the College of Winterhold.
She wore a face mask to conceal her identity. Additionally, she warns others not to get too close because of the disease - but this is just a cover to prevent her past from catching up with her.
Recommended Mods:
While it’s not really required, I highly recommend you get a relationship conversation overhaul. Anvily uses the "female sultry" voice pack, and there are situations in the base game where certain dialogue lines don't have voiced lines, so she will use the "female longing" voice.
I also highly recommend a follower management mode like Amazing Follower Tweaks SE.

She can be equipped with light and heavy armor. She has the perk of two armor types.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
