Anvil - World Breaker

Anvil is a standalone follower of Skyrim SE. The mod also comes with a new location owned by followers.

Backstory:

"It is said that orcs first learned to swing a hammer in their mother's womb."

These words don't just bother orc society. They are the innate nature of every orc. These words are the "fireforged" way of life, founded on the ideals of craftsmanship and a life-long commitment to perfecting the craftsman's art.

It's a natural expectation in a shipbuilder's family: whenever a child reaches an age, their first instinct is to wield a weapon, whether it's bladed or blunt, and use it against the thing they fear most. The weapon becomes the soul of the individual. Every weapon they make for themselves will be infused with new metals from their previous weapons. This is the evolution from child to adult, and the individual soul is eternal.

There is only one case in which a person fails to follow this instinct. After a child is born and reaches adulthood, his first instinct is to swing a hammer and strike an anvil in a forge. Something about the sound of a hammer striking an anvil, and the roar of fire as air is pushed into the forge caught the child's attention.

The clan, as a collective, declared that the child would forever be known as Avel.

"Orcs follow death"

The clan's core belief is to follow the properties of metal throughout the forging process, known as the Code Of The Forge. The code adopts the basic rules and beliefs of the Malakat Code and builds on them to create norms and beliefs appropriate to the clan. Each generation builds on the code of the next.

Once the metal is heated to the perfect temperature, it can be bent and shaped. Every metal is different, but their basic properties are the same. Likewise, all members of the ForgeFire clan have their own talents, but within the clan, all members are equal, regardless of gender.

Once the metal reaches the perfect temperature, it is forged into a weapon, or a piece of armor that is better and stronger than metal. If the metal is forged too early, or too late, it will break. It will be destroyed. It takes a lot of patience and concentration to understand the strengths and weaknesses of metals. Likewise, all members of the Cannonball Clan must learn to use their rage to make themselves better and stronger in the heat of battle. But they must not let their anger consume them, for that will destroy them from within. Each member must learn to observe their own strengths and weaknesses. Observe yourself with patience and focus, and use this knowledge to make yourself better, stronger, and wiser.

Once a weapon is forged, it has only one purpose. destroy. It is up to the soul to wield it, which determines how effective the weapon will be. When each clan member makes a weapon, he must understand the purpose of making the weapon. Know if the weapon will be used to harm innocent people, or bring doom to corrupt people. Your purpose is clear to ensure the ruthless fury of your weapons destroys the evildoers.

Once armor is forged, it has only one purpose. For protection. The best armor will pass the test of time. It will be immovable. Indestructible. Your goal is clear, to become an indestructible shield against those who would bring chaos to this world.

The Dragon Clan was founded during the later stages of the Dragon War, a war fought between dragons and humans during the Age of Med. Not much is known about the clan's history, except that Anvil is the last remaining member.

Anvil Shelter:

The mod introduces a new location called "Anvil's Refuge". The location is just above "Reachwater Rock". This stronghold is located across from an abandoned camp and right next to a waterfall. Follow the Orcish stronghold icon on the map to reach this location.
