Mod original location: Anna's Winterhold Restored SE

Please download the original file first (please click ENDORSE to encourage the author:)

This module only provides translated files. Please download the full file of Anna's Winterhold Restored SE first, and then overwrite it with the Chinese cultural file.

This module uses university Chinese texts as the base.

Repair ruined houses into shops with owners' living quarters, stables, merchants with independent voices, player cabins, and protective stone walls around the town. Winter Garrison is no longer the grand city it once was, but is now revitalizing as a rebuilt city.

The author doesn't like any of the Winter City reconstruction modules she has seen. The author thinks that the collapse happened a long time ago, how could it not be repaired? Rebuild it into a grand city like The Great City of Winterhold. What the author did was also reconstruction, but it was not like the prosperity and grandeur of the past, but like a new city.

The author has been working on this module intermittently for several years since the oldrim era, but it has not been officially released. Originally named Winterhold Rebuilt, the author of Quaxe then produced a mod with the same name and concept. The author then changed the name to Winterhold Restored, but unfortunately someone else used the same name. Now I want to publish it quickly before others do the same thing... (Translator: In short, the original article is the reason why the author was dissatisfied and uploaded an incomplete file. I actually don’t know the details XD")

Note (warm reminder posted in POST): There are 3 items in the update archive in Anna's Winterhold Restored SE. Although they are not very important, it is best to use them XD.

Next update, 1.2:

  • Upgrade tasks will be implemented and once you become a baron you can provide reconstruction funds through the lord and seneschal (currently the feature is not implemented in version 1.1 but the dialogue still appears)

Bug fixes:

  • Fixed correct unique names for all activations(?)

The functions of the current version are not perfect yet!

  • Turn dilapidated houses into shops and residences, and customize independent voice merchants - new custom logo!
  • The protective stone wall on the cliffside blocks the cold wind! - The enchantment table in Player Home can be activated to switch between Wall and Tree Screen <<I have not tested this, so the translation may not be accurate.
  • The player's cabin, the white snowstone villa, is like a mage's home - 4 activators: summon altar, hang paintings, bathtub, change walls <<Similarly, I did not test the part of the player's house

(Translator: If there are translation errors in the part inside the house, they will be corrected in the next version updated by the author)

  • Stable with 4 horses (currently free, but will make that NPC a horse dealer in the future)
  • CW and any other markers in destroyed houses have been removed
  • Adapt the Navmeshes around the new build, fully test and finalize
  • Completely zone out new internal Navmesheds for followers
  • Several skulls, boulders, snow, dead trees, etc. are disabled
  • Some places require extensive landscape editing

Player's cabin key location: In the safe by the front door

compatibility:

  • Immersive College of Winterhold - Yeah, I haven't touched the college at all.
  • Interesting NPCs - Yes, Vigram can still sit on the bench outside the bakery with his horse Frances.
  • There may be some confusion. Crate and a sac placed where I put the table and chairs => disable them.
  • Lord Quaxe's "Winterhold Rebuilt" - No, because he does a lot of the same things.
  • JK's Winterhold - Partial Support - He didn't restore the destroyed houses, but he did add ruins.
  • The Great City of Winterhold / The Great Cities - No, put a lot of things in the same area.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
