This is the official Skyrim SE port of Genebriss' Skyrim mod "Animations". Permission has been given for this port. Hello everyone,

I've ported this mod to SSE with permission from Genebriss. This is one of my official ports and tested, so everything should work fine.

In particular, animations and scripts have been converted and fixed to SSE!

I copied the description below from the original mod, so please keep in mind that all videos and images are from oldrim.

Please don’t forget to endorse his project!

Simply install this mod manually or using Modmanager, no additional adjustments are required for SSE. Please read the entire description of this mod!

If your animation doesn't work, check if MCM has this mode enabled!

All Credit belongs to Genebriss!

Add animations to loot containers and corpses, harvest plants, unlock doors and chests, open doors, activate levers, pray, drink and eat potions and food, equip armor and open maps.

More videos below.

SKSE and SkyUI are required.

Dynamically attach scripts for compatibility with objects in DLC or other mods. For example: Robbery animations will apply to chests added by another mod. Drinking potion animation also works with any potion from other mods.

Animations are dynamically selected based on the Z coordinate and height of the player and active object. Therefore, even the same container can be opened with different animations depending on the player's position.

I didn't do the animation. They are the default Skyrim animations.

By default it plays the animation in third person, returning you to the first person if you are in this mode. It is possible to set not to change POV in MCM, but there will be no first person animation.

Can be used with immersive first-person or enhanced cameras for first-person animation. //Neither ported to SSE!

Options in MCM:

Enable/disable mods

Disable any part of the mod. For example, you can only use lockpicking, opening and drinking animations and disable everything else.

Length and POV of each animation

Randomized animation lengths for looting, harvesting and lockpicking to make them more natural.

Allows NPCs to attack players during animations.

and more.

Installation: Download it like a normal mod. Loading order doesn't matter. Load the game and make a new save. Then enable the mod

MCM。

Uninstall: Disable the mod in MCM first! This is very important! Only then can you delete the file or disable it in the launcher.

Compatibility: This mod does not change any objects in the game. Overall, it's compatible with everything, but may require you to disable certain animation types to avoid conflicts. Use perk entry points to replace the activation process.

Form list editing:

Typically, scripts select animations by looking at the object type, but it's not always possible to simply determine the object's

its type. For example, Nirnroots should obviously use harvest

animated, but unlike all other plants, they are not plants, they are

activation. The only way is to list different nirnroots (only 2

in the vanilla game) being able to move them from buttons, levers and defers

Other activators. This means that if there are any other mods advertising new types

Nirnroots They will not be recognized as Nirnroots by Animations. But with

Form list edit menu you will be able to add new Nirnroots

List. Another example is the dwemer lever. Normal leverage is marked with

special keyword, but dwemer leverage doesn't have it for some reason, that is

Why have their form list. If you have any new leverage

Instead of playing the animation, you can add it to the dwemer lever table list.

Hello everyone,

with the permission of Genebriss, I have ported this mod to SSE. This is an offical port by me and tested, …

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
