About this mod Machine translation

Always.Stable.Skyrim is a hub page dedicated to one thing. Help people save a lot of time.

Have you ever thought that the mod community could really band together and create a huge texture, weapon and armor, monster and NPC graphics, weather and game mod that was the best of everything and really fixed everything that was wrong with Skyrim?

My friends, this will never happen. So forget it. I'm here to dash your hopes and dreams against the rocks. They were sharp, jagged, and covered in a moldy, slimy green growth... just like my teeth. So I bring you the next best thing. A complete guide, completely and totally free of headaches, stress, wasted downloads, textures you don't like, and CTD's, or bad saves. Yes. I decided to give you ALWAYS.STABLE.SKYRIM

I decided to create ALWAYS.STABLE.KYRIM for players like me who spend more time modifying SkyRIM. To help them find and download from a tried and tested list, I've thoroughly played all the issues in one place to save time and allow for the most stable Skyrim experience you may ever have.

The goal here is simple, to set a new standard for what a Skyrim Special Edition can be, and to provide a baseline for all Skyrim players to choose what they want from this list, whether it's all or some of the mods listed, knowing that these mods are completely stable and worth the download, and investment of their time.

This hub page will include >

-Links to every stable mod I use while referencing the author.

  • New methods are regularly tested and added.
  • Suggestions and helpful suggestions from the authors in the comments, if they so wish.

Note:

-I did not use any resources and there are no MOD files to download here.

  • This is a hub page to help you find good, stable, faster, faster.

-If your mod is listed here, it's because I respect your work and put it here. This means I've tested it, played it, and it hasn't caused incompatibilities where I have to have mods or breaks the game.

The mods list is divided into categories to make it easier to search for the mods I'm currently using.

As an example: My ambient weather, landscaping, texturing and lighting installation process

Of course, this is purely my opinion, you can use any mods you like, and others, and others, these are what I've found work best for me. I will warn you, I run a nice Beefy rig (dual GTX 1080, 32 GB of Ram, Intel 4770K running @4.2GHZ Assault SSD's) which allows me to play @4k at 50+FPS at all times internally and externally, with fully loaded mods + lots of 4k textures + max settings + TSAA. If I add ENB to this it will lower the FPS by 20-30 FPS, so if using ENB I usually use 2560x1440p and max settings to maintain 50+FPS at all times. Even at 2560x1440 it still looks amazing.

  • Static mesh improvement mode<

2.SkyRIM floral overhaul will cover some SMIM<

  • Noble Skies - This covers SFO's ground and landscape textures, cities, fortresses, bridges, ruins, etc., as well as vanilla mountains and many other things in SMIM.
  • Real water two (water substitute material) <-must have

5.RW2 LOD repair (fix ugly LOD from RW 2) <- Important

  • Verdant (replaces SFO grass with a different grass, more of it everywhere) <- Top pick
  • Green Plant RW 2 Patches (RW 2 makes shoreline grass work better) <
  • Premium Rock Structure 4K (Stunning) <-- Covering noble rocks and mountains.
  • High-definition LODS textures (excellent)
  • Nordic Snow

11.HQ Bark <--Only used if you choose a larger tree instead of SFO and want to change the bark texture

  • Lanterns in the Sky (Plus Lanterns) <--once they're there, you'll wonder why they're not where they were
  • All other texture mods - many below - will override SMIM, Noble Skyrim files, which is fine.
  • Realistic Lighting Overhaul, (in my experience it's best to install it after almost everything else so it covers all SMIM, Noble Skyrim, Ruin Clutter, Candles, Lighting Fixtures, Fire, Illumination, Spells, etc.).
  • Vivid Tools (definitely the last one in the entire installat …

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
