About this mod Machine translation
New thunder and indoor rain sounds. New volume slider for thunder. Thunder sound reduced by 30%. Thunder now disappears during conversations. Thunder occurs randomly.
***Requires photo of TAMRIEL***
I didn't like the default sounds in Climate of Tamriel, so I made some new ones.
I always thought there was too much thunder, so now it's reduced by 30%. In theory, it should be more random and the thunder should disappear during conversations.
As of CoT 5.7SE, LightningFX's volume slider doesn't seem to work (technically it does, but only with the special lightning method used by CoT), and the thunder volume has been tied to the effects slider. I assigned all thunder to its own category, which I called "thunder" (derp).
***It is strongly recommended to use SSE engine repair***
The volume of the new "Thunder" slider will not be saved unless SSE Engine Fixes are installed. This is a game engine error. This mod is not a bug.
Install
Install as usual using the Mod Manager of your choice, for manual installation just copy the files to the data directory.
Place this mod so that it loads after Tamriel in your load order.
compatibility
Skyrim SE Audio Overhaul - Load this mod after Skyrim SE Audio Overhaul.
As of now, this mod is only compatible with Tamriel 5.7SE's climate. Maybe with someone else.
As for other conflicting mods, you may have issues with any of the surrounding thunder being confused. I'm currently using it with Immersive Sound: Digest and it works great.

***CLIMATES OF TAMRIEL IS REQUIRED***
The default sounds in Climates of Tamriel were not to my taste, so I made some new ones.
I always thought there was too much thunder, so it is now decreased by 30%. Theoretically it should be much more random, and thunder sounds should now fade during dialogue too.
As of CoT 5.7SE, the volume slider for LightningFX does not appear to work (Technically it does, but only for the special lightning spell CoT uses) and the thunder volume is tied to the effects slider. I have assigned all thunder sounds to their own category, which I called 'Thunder' (derp).
***SSE ENGINE FIXES IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED***
Volume levels for the new 'Thunder' slider will not be saved unless SSE Engine Fixes is installed. This is a game engine bug. It is not a bug with this mod.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
