Alternate Beginning - Another Day at Rorickstead (Past Friendly)

An immersive and very friendly questline prelude is added to the main quest, as well as background on the players (i.e. dragons) you discover over time, and even gives you an incentive to join one side of the civil war!

After a long upload process, I'm proud to say here is the first in a line of "Another Day" quests!

Have you ever wanted to be thrown into the main Skyrim questline? Have you ever wondered how exactly you became a Dragonborn? The purpose of this mod is to bring more clarity to these and other issues. An immersive and very friendly questline prelude has been added to the main quest and provides background information for your player (Dragonborn) and even gives you motivation to join the Civil War!

The quest line is obvious at first, but once you start discovering the player's history, you'll need to continue through the main quest to learn more about yourself. My biggest question about Skyrim during my first few playthroughs was "Why am I being spawned as a dragon?" In the end, it's a connection.

This is the first of many mods that I will make that will make the start of the game more realistic and killer for any race you decide to choose, as I feel like the start of the game really determines whether the playthrough is worth it or not.

This mod is especially suitable for use with the IMPERIAL race, as you will be prompted to join the Imperial Army after a while. You can still choose the Northmen, but know that you have to join the Imperial Army. (Mods are recommended below to improve the overall experience by 100 times)

Alternate Start (Absolutely necessary! Otherwise, the quest line is basically broken, using this mod gives a much better introduction to the game!)

Provincial courier service (highly recommended! Allows couriers to send you letters anywhere and really allows the storyline to develop)

Highly recommended models (download these files for a great experience)

Towns Extended (SSE) - or any similar town-modification module for Rorikstead, can really add to the experience of your players living there.

The following mods will really add to your experience as you follow the questline, as participating in the war is important. If you've never used any of these mods, enjoy a completely revitalized Skyrim experience!

When you start the game, you have a quest in your log to select a patron of a local inn in Rorikstead from the Mara Statue and then travel to your farm to start the quest line. That's all the details I'm going to cover in this description, as the questline is very mysterious and gets more and more as you explore!

Compatible with all mods as far as I know. Ignore the alternate starting quest line that directs you to Helgen, as this will be complete once you complete the quest line from this mod!

Hint: There is an item in the cave to start the quest. There is a note on one of the graves.
