The checked container remains open. This allows you to better navigate in locations with a large number of different containers - you can visually see which containers have been inspected.

This mod works with all containers with opening animations - JackMorris' Animated clutter is highly recommended.

Mods do not handle containers, their normal activation is blocked by games or mods, player-owned containers and locked containers.

Other actions.

-------------------------------------------------- -----------------------------

Opens the container's additional actions dialog when the "Sprint" key is pressed to activate it (by default - Alt on PC, LB on Xinput controllers):

"Keep this container closed" - Close the container after checking.

"I am the owner!" - An "unowned" container declaring player ownership.

Such containers will always remain closed after inspection, which is especially important in sportsman's houses containing such containers.

"I don't need this anymore" - Returns "unowned" status to the container.

Such a container will become the property of the owner of the location (if one exists) and will be handled by the mod in the usual way.

It can be used to rent out a room by first declaring the container as your own and returning it to the tavern's property upon "departure".

compatibility:

Theoretically, the extra action's dialogue might be incompatible with mods that use the same key combinations on containers (I'm not aware of such mods).

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
