describe
AllGUD is a great mod, but it's always bothered me that the mesh generator script doesn't work with several weapons. One of them is my beloved mithril sword. Eimar's Edge SSE and Isilmeriel LOTR Weapon Collection SSE are other examples of scripts that consistently fail.
A few months ago I took a closer look at this issue and found that all the weapons that didn't work had something in common. They have a scabbard with a sword web composed of several BSTriShapes:

Unfortunately, the author hasn't published anything for months, and the issue has yet to be resolved. So I took a closer look at the Notepad++ script. I knew the scabbard was the problem so I used the search function to search for scb. After browsing the relevant code for a few minutes, I discovered the problem. Obviously, this is a small oversight. In two places, the script is looking for Block.Index instead of aBlock.Index. That’s all.
The original mod allowed bug fixes to be released, so here we are. Once the original author of AllGUD updates his mod, I will remove this mod page.
Install
- Install the latest version of xEdit.
- Install All Geared Up Derivative SE-AllGUD as usual.
- Install AllGUD xEdit scripts from the AllGUD original page by copying the "Edit Scripts" folder to your xEdit installation.
The content should be:
Edit Script\
AllGUD AlternateTextureModelsplosion.pas
AllGUD project locationGenerator.pas
All GUD Skeleton Patcher.pas
AllGUD Weapon Mesh Generator
AllGUD \ LE Template \ Template.nif
AllGUD \ SE Template \ Template.nif
AllGUD \ Blacklist.txt
- Download the AllGUD Weapon Mesh Generator Script patch from this mod page and extract the file into the "Edit Scripts" folder mentioned above.
Overwrite the AllGUD Weapon Mesh Generator.pas in this folder with one from this mod.
- Use xEdit to run the script and generate the weapon mesh as usual.
- Profit.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
