Babushka-fy Skyrim has this hat replacement!
This mod uses textures from Better Redguard Alik'r Hoods from Vampiredirt, replacing farm hats, cowls, fancy hats, merchant's hats, and beggar's hats with Alik'r hood meshes. This plugin edits records associated with the following Armor formIDs, and any mod that also edits these records is incompatible with the full babushka-fication experience:
00017696
000CEE84
000330B3
000330BC
000209AA
0004223B
00013104
My screenshot shows human and mer characters, but Argonian and Khajiit characters can also be babushka!
All edited hats can be used with circles and have the keyword Survival_ArmorWarm. The Mer character may experience clipping because the redguard hood records cloned for this mod do not have body template tags hiding humans or ears.
Impersonators do not bear the mourner's hat (formID: 000646AB).

This mod replaces farm hats, cowls, fine hats, merchant hats, and beggar hats with Alik'r hood meshes using textures from Better Redguard Alik'r Hoods by vampiredirt. My screenshots show human and mer characters, but Argonian and Khajiit characters can also be babushka'd!
All edited hats can be worn with circlets and have the keyword for Survival_ArmorWarm. Mer characters may experience clipping because the redguard hood records which were cloned for this mod don't have body template flags to hide human or mer ears.
The mourner's hat (formID: 000646AB) is not covered by the mod.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
