The title says it all...

NOTE: This mod is no longer supported. The new AO effects in the latest ENB series make it almost obsolete.

I've always loved that certain enbs can provide cool SSAO effects, but I've never found that this is what it's called. I quickly found out it was ADOF, some offer very strong support and others less so. My goal is to provide this effect for all enbs. It has very simple installation steps and looks great with any enb.

This is the video effect I'm showing, sorry I can't upload it into the "Videos" tab, it always comes up as an error.

Video display effect

NOTE: The higher quality in the "High" preset you specifically selected in ADOF will result in more noticeable "bleeding". If you don't know what this is, it's shown in the screenshot below. Basically, the effect will show through transparent things like fog and water. If this bothers you, try using a lower preset, or just avoid using this effect.

As I said, installation is very simple.

1.) Make sure you are ready and working.

2.) Download the ADOF quality of your choice

3.) Extract these files and unzip them into the enbseries folder in the Skyrim directory, making sure to replace any files that need to be overwritten.

4.) Start Skyrim and make profits

If you encounter problems, please let me know in the post. I may not get back to you right away for a number of reasons.

Notice: This mod is no longer being supported. It was pretty much made obsolete by the new AO effect in the latest ENB Series.

I've always liked that some enbs offered a cool SSAO effect, I never found out was this was called though. I soon found out it was ADOF, and some offered it very strongly while others offered it less intensely. My goal here was to offer that effect to any enb at all. It has very easy installation steps and looks great with any enb.

Here's a video by me showcasing the effect, sorry I couldn't upload it into the Videos tab, it always come out as an error.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
