About this mod Machine translation

Disclaimer: These adjustments are provided as-is. I won't be doing any patches, other releases, merges and/or other pull requests. If you want to change/tweak anything yourself or make a patch, feel free to do so. (See Permissions!)

I won't be porting any to consoles or Bethesda.net, but I will allow others to do so. (See Permissions!)

The LE version can be found here.

This mod adds a minor power that allows you to administer potions to friendly NPCs, buffering or healing them.

Pen and paper games like D&D and Pathfinder allow you to administer potions to friendly NPCs, so I thought I'd make a mod that did the same thing for Skyrim.

How this works:

After installing this mod, you will notice a new feature called "Manage Potions". When you approach a friendly NPC and use this power, you can choose a potion from the Giftmenu. The NPC will then use this potion immediately.

It even works well for homemade potions.

However, for buffering potions ("Fortify X") to work properly on NPCs, you need ASIS, specifically its "NPC Enchantment Fix" module.

(No Nazeems were (actually) harmed while making this mod.)

It even works with selfmade potions.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
