Patches for Adamant and WACCF
I used Adamant as a revitalization check and was very pleased with the progress of the revitalization. I also use WACCF, and while I'm not particularly interested in its gameplay changes, I quite like its adjustments to clothing, and even prefer the Armor and Clothing Extension changes to use it as a master.
This patch should make both modules work together.
Beware - it supports Adamant's selection, so almost all game changes from WACCF will be overwritten.
When WACCF revealed constructible objects that could be moved by Adamant (either because it relied purely on vanilla recipes, or because they were crafted by WACCF), I still made sure they had perk requirements appropriate for Adamant progression - so things like gold-plated Elven armor, as well as chitinous items, would be craftable with other Elven armor (rare-style perks) and not lumped in with Orchid armor.
A few more things worth noting:
- WACCF will temper certain items if you have the Arcane Blacksmith perk. Since Adamant makes it work automatically, you can adjust it from the start.
-You may find that you can theoretically make a Shellbug helmet when you're just starting from Helgen (or any starting point), even if you haven't needed to use Helgen for a long time. This is another effect that occurs automatically with Arcane Blacksmith's perk, and only occurs in Adamantite. I resisted the temptation to add some conditions since this is a compatibility patch and not my own trait tweak.

I use Adamant as a perk overhaul and I am quite happy with its perk progression. I also use WACCF and while I am not especially interested in its gameplay changes, I quite like the tweaks it makes to outfits, and even more the changes from Armor and Clothing Extension that use it as a master.
This patch is supposed to make the two mods work together.
Beware - it favors Adamant choices, so almost all gameplay changes from WACCF will be overwritten.
When WACCF featured Constructable Objects that weren't direclty touched by Adamant (either because it purely relied on the vanilla recipe, or because they were made craftable by WACCF), I still made sure they had a perk requirement that fit Adamant's progression - so for instance the Gilded Elven Armor, as well as Chitin items, will be craftable with other Elven Armors (Rare Styles perk), instead of being lumped together with Orchis armors as it happened wihtout the patch.
A few more things worth noting:
- some items were made temperable by WACCF if you had the Arcane Blacksmith perk. Since Adamant makes it automatic, you'll be able to temper them from the start.
- you may notice you can now theoretically craft the Shellbug Helmet when you're fresh out of Helgen (or wherever you started), even though of course you won't have the required materials for a long time. This is another effect of making the Arcane Blacksmith perk automatic and it happens with Adamant alone as well. I resisted the temptation to add some condition since this is a compatibility patch an not my own idiosyncratic tweaks.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
