Abyss Gaole

A new sword made by a friend of mine based on a tabletop roleplaying weapon.

“…Long ago, before the foundations of stone were formed, before humans emerged in an external world beyond human comprehension, there existed a race of divine beings known as angels in the folklore of Asmenor and beyond.

At some point in the history of that race, a pure angel revolted and fell into disgrace along with his followers.

The name is Thor, Lord of Darkness and Despair.

When he fell, the event was so ridiculous to nature's way that his shame took the form of dust, causing Tor to cough up the unhealthy substance from his lungs.

Out of pure hatred and frustration, Tor wept his own blood, dripping it directly onto the cursed dust.

Pure rage consumed his heart, and Tor pulled an evil sword from the blood-stained dust on the ground, a sword formed directly from his ashes and blood.

The sword appeared to be made of gold and steel, with a large crystal adorning the saddle at the end, and despite appearing to be made of such ordinary materials, this unholy artifact far surpassed any weapon that man could create.

Letters begin to burn directly onto the golden handle and blade, revealing the following sentence.

Terminato Metus - Falling into fear

Animarum Est Alligatum-Soul Chain

Semper in timore-Forever in terror

In blade:

Hostis Humanal Salutis-The Enemy of Human Sanity

Vale and the referendum - farewell to all that is good

O pater sanguinem sprevi-father blood father

Dido Tus et festum incipere - spread the word and let the feast begin

Suddenly, Thor pointed the cursed sword to the sky and spoke loudly, in an unnatural way that made even the surrounding mountains tremble like a thunderstorm:

"Listen to me, this is all your deeds, my brother, and I hereby declare this forgery, in deep fear of all life on earth, absorbing their souls and hopes, the world will sink in my gushing blood, the universe will be haunted by my darkness, peace will be consumed by the power of the deep, I, Thor, will survive by this existence, so I prophesy."

Thousands of years passed after the fact, and Thor never heard anything like it again, but in his absence he left his sister Irma to serve as a hot-blooded herald on earth, fostering every kind of misfortune wherever she went, and with her always wielding the evil sword she called...

Abyss Gaole

These facts happened thousands of years ago, legend tells that Emma was defeated by a group of brave adventurers, and the sword without other masters disappeared in search of Thor. If the story is true, then the evil and powerful wizard found it and started wielding the sword, keeping the souls of his test subjects at bay.

The Abyssal Gaoler is an evil artifact used to hold and torture the souls of the slain.

This sword was an important part of a tabletop RPG written by my great friend Wesley, and I enjoyed playing it so much that I made a few "fan art," so to speak, of his RPGs, and you can find more of the pictures and swords in Abyss Gaole and the RPG I posted a few months ago.

The mods, videos, and art above are my homage/fan art to the RPG.

Cost from +0 to +1: 1 Gold Ingot, 1 Steel Ingot, 1 Black Soul Gem (refill) and 1 Abyss Gole +0

From +1 to +2, it consumes: 1 Gold Ingot, 2 Steel Ingots, 1 Black Soul Gem (refill) and 1 Abyss Gole +1

From +2 to +3, it takes: 1 gold ingot, 3 steel ingots, 1 black soul gem (filled) and 1 abyss gorler +2

From +3 to +4, you need to consume: 1 gold ingot, 4 steel ingots, 1 black soul gem (refill) and 1 abyss gorler +3
