About this mod Machine translation
Ebonsteel is a standalone armor set with comparable and improved stats to Ebony. The objects in the game are retextures of steel plate armor. We tried (and succeeded) to make it proportional to the difference between steel plate and steel plate.
This mod was created using Skyrim Creation Kit, NifSkope, Bethesda Archive Extractor (BAE) and Paint.Net.
This mod requires the latest version of Skyrim and updates.
Ebonsteel armor requires the Ebony smithing perk and is crafted with additional ingots and leather strips, as well as one Void Salt per piece. There are currently no shields as there are no steel plate shields.
*This is not a simple reconstruction of steel plate armor. This is a complete new set of equipment, between EBONY and DAEDRIC.
The breastplate has an armor rating of 52, the armor and gauntlets are 19, and the helmet is 25.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
