thief at night
TITN is a work in progress mod and may have some bugs. Everything that's already there has been completed, but overall only 20% is complete. The main focus will be completing The Crypt, adding things to steal, ways to steal, and things to spend your Gold Mountain on.
feature
crypt
Originally part of Valkygg, The Crypt was sealed off when a tower collapsed. Now rumor has it that a thief has managed to dig his way through an abandoned farmhouse. Find it take over and find your own solution to the crime. The basement starts small, with just you and a few bandits, but slowly grows as you invest gold until it becomes an underground crime town. You'll find merchants, trainers, unique new services, and a variety of shady characters. As your crypt levels up, you'll unlock new features, merchants, and abilities. Find the farmhouse east of Hamvir's Rest, clear out the draugr and leave. After 24 hours, a pair of bandits will arrive and set up your vault and ledgers, put some gold coins in the safe and enable the investment account to get started, then check in every day to see progress. Gold saved in the safe will appear in the coin pile in the center of the vault.
horse theft
When the basement reaches level 16, Dar'bassa appears and begins to provide special services. Now he did one thing, horse. If you ride a stolen horse into the stable's farmhouse, you can sell it for 30% of its value, or have Dar'bassa forge the ownership documents for 50% of its value and make the horse yours. Due to recent events, the bounty for horse stealing has been increased to 1,000.
aggravated robbery
If you have a shovel and a strong belly, you can dig up graves with a chance of finding jewelry, sacred amulets, and bone meal.
sleep poison
When the crypt reaches level 8, the Alchemist opens for business and teaches you the recipe for Sleep Poison. It can be applied to weapons and causes the humanoid target to sleep for 1 minute. It does not apply to humans or undead in combat. Depending on the NPC's weight, it takes 1 to 2 seconds to take effect. When NPCs wake up, they remain alert and try to figure out what happened. The NPC level needs to be below your alchemy skill - 30 so it has no effect until your alchemy is over 30.
safe
No more breaking into a wealthy family's home to find the wooden chest of 34 Septim. TITN has added approximately 50 4-layer safes to suitable homes and businesses in Skyrim.
Low premium safes can be found at Riverwood Trader, Alvors House, Evette Sans House and more
Medium wealth safes can be found in House of Clan Cruel-Sea, Nepos House, Winking Skeever, etc.
High limit safes can be found at places like House Grey-Mane/Shatter-Shield, Black-Briar Lodge, East Empire Company, and more.
Ultra-luxury safes are available at Thalmor Embassy, Markarth Treasury House, Black-Briar Manor and more
in lockpicks
Lockpicks have been removed from the inventories of most law-abiding citizens and merchants. An elaborate recipe has been added to the Smelter, which is unlocked via a second lock drill (Apprentice Locks). Plans offer various types of locks with various advantages and disadvantages.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
