Content introduction:
Simple Reshade custom shader for Spider-Man Remastered
This shader makes Spider-Man Remastered slightly lighter (stronger lighting effects), but with better shading, detail and post-processing effects.
Author: Chris Rubino
Notice:
This mod is not compatible with AMD FSR and only supports NVIDIA DLSS
It is based on the Reshade 5.xx framework but may not work properly with other versions of Reshade or other standard shaders.
Install:
Before installing this mod, clean all your previous Reshade files and configurations from the Spider-man Remastered folder (if you have already installed it)
Extract the downloaded file (just unzip it, don't run the Reshade installer) to the location of your game executable (Spider-Man.exe)
For example, C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Marvel's Spider-Man Remastered
Run the game!
Command keys:
- INSERT: switch effect on/off (default: ON)
- END: Shows the Reshade UI so you can adjust color saturation, brightness, and more
- PgDn (Page-Down): Toggle 3D stereo mode on/off (defaults to top-down format, you can change it to SBS format later via UI).
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
