About this mod Machine translation
What mod is this?
This is a reconstructed mod that pays homage to Lara's more classic look, including some booty shorts. It's a simple reimagining of the Desert Tank Top. So it's not perfect, but it's the best I can do. However, if this mod gets positive feedback, I will happily give it more time in the oven or even get a new one for another outfit. The texture also used to be that of pants, so if your eyes are sore, the pockets have a smaller flap than before, and the version I'm offered has patches/pockets to cover up the flap.
How to install this mod
What you need to do:
Special K written by Kaldaien: https: //github.com/Kaldaien/SpecialK/releases
If you're not sure what Special K is, you'll find plenty of tutorials online on how to install it for SOTTR ex:
You need to make sure the settings are correct:
Direct X 12 needs to be turned off
Texture quality needs to be set to ULTRA
You need to unlock the Desert Vest outfit
Installation steps:
Just place the file into the special k's injected texture directory, usually found at:

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
