UwU language pack

✨ Bringing a new, adorable UwU language experience to Slay the Spire 2!

🎭Mod Description

**PLEASE NOTE**: This mod was originally an April Fool's joke. It already has some text display issues, and things are likely to get worse with future updates to the game. The author has no plans to update at the moment.

🛠️ Features

  • **New language option**: In the game settings, you can switch the language to **"UwU"**.
  • **Fun Text**: Most of the text in the game has been converted into cute UwU style.
  • **Known Issues**: Some game events may have minor translation issues.

⚙️ Prerequisites

**IMPORTANT**: This mod requires **BaseLib Mod 0.2.2 or higher** to function properly.

  • Go to BaseLib GitHub to download the following files:
  • `BaseLib.dll`
  • `BaseLib.pck`
  • `BaseLib.json`
  • Follow the installation steps below. You can skip extracting the BaseLib file.

This mod is available for the current **Public Beta** of the game.

💾 Archive file

Adding any OwO mods to Slay the Spire 2 will mark the game as "Modded", which will use separate save files from unmodded saves.

📥 Installation Guide

  • Right-click the game in the Steam library and select **Manage -> Browse Local Files**.
  • In the opened folder, create a new folder named **`mods`**.
  • Unzip the UwU language pack file you downloaded. (After unzipping you should get a folder containing 3 files)
  • Place this unzipped folder into the **`mods`** folder you just created.

If this is your first time installing a mod, the game may ask you if you want to enable the mod to play.

In-game, you can enable or disable this mod under **Settings -> General -> Mods**.

Enjoy this fun new language! 😉

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
