🧩 Core functions at a glance

🎯 Simple teammate coordination indicator

Visually display on the game interface whether teammates have drawn **"Multiplayer Exclusive Cards"** or have cards that can provide benefits to the team.

  • **Regular buff**: The corresponding buff icon will be displayed directly (currently supporting **vulnerable, weak, suffocating**).
  • **Multiplayer exclusive cards**: unified display as a **"handshake"** icon.
  • **Future Plan**: Improve scalability so that specific cards (such as "Flanking Attack") can display exclusive icons.
💡 **Developer Tip**: The relevant logic is located in `lemonSpire2.SynergyIndicator.Models.IndicatorProvider`.

💬 Complete multi-person chat system

Press the **Tab** key to expand or collapse the chat box, and you can also drag the title bar with the mouse to move it!

**✨ Send Everything**

  • **Alt + left click**: Send information about relics, cards, and buffs to the chat. Teammates can hover to view detailed tool tips.
  • **Alt + Right Click**: Sends a "current hover tip", perfect for sharing cards/relics that are forced on you during events, or buffs attached to cards in your hand.
🙏 **ACKNOWLEDGMENTS**: The chat base code for this feature is thanks to Shiroim's sts2_typing (MIT license).
⚠️ **Current limitation**: The implementation of the right-click function is relatively rough and directly reads the hover prompt text, so the scalability is poor and multi-language support will be destroyed.

📊 Simple contribution statistics

In multiplayer mode, when hovering the mouse over the character status on the left, a tooltip will be displayed showing the player's:

  • **Damage Contribution**
  • **Gain Contribution**
  • **Additional damage contribution** (such as increased damage caused by vulnerability, weakness, etc.)
🔧 **Extensibility**: Want to add new hover statistics? Please take a look at the `NPlayerState.ITooltipProvider` interface. Existing statistics code is located under the `StatsTracker` namespace.

👁️ In-battle status hover panel

In the original game, clicking on the character status on the left brought up a full-screen panel showing the complete deck and relic lists - which was of limited help in a single battle.

**We improved it! **

  • **Click on character status**: A small hover panel will now pop up, directly showing teammates **hand cards** and **available potions** of the current round.
  • **View original full-screen panel**: Can be opened by **double-click** or **right-click**.
🚀 **Convenient Feature**: Items in this hover panel also support **Alt + Click** to send to chat!
🔌 **Extended support**: Want to add new information to the panel? Please refer to `lemonSpire2.NPlayerState.Panel`.

🚧 Development plan and to-do list

🎨 User Interface

  • The current UI is still very crude and needs to be beautified.

📝 Better BBCode support

Currently, the chat box does not escape user input at all, so please take care of your teammates and don't let them send unclosed tags, otherwise the style of the entire chat box will be a mess!

**Future Idea**: Implement a label function to display corresponding tool tips by reversely searching multi-language text. For example, typing `[card:Flank]` will display a hover tooltip for the "Flank" card directly in chat. In this way, you can even "discover" cards that are not in your hand, and then ask your teammates to quickly find one for you.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
