Hide Relic Overflow

🎮 **My first mod! **I created this mod because I believe others will also like and appreciate such an excellent **Quality of Life (QoL)** mod. I really want to contribute to the modding community for this game because this game is absolutely phenomenal and a ton of fun.

✨ Version 1.1 Update

  • **Full Compatibility**: Now fully compatible with **BaseLib** and **ModConfig**.
  • **Counter Relic Options**: Added an option to allow relics with counters (basically incrementing effects) to be included in the relic popup/overflow list (**enabled by default**, consistent with previous functionality).
  • **Relic Stacking**: Duplicate relics can now be stacked/merged (**disabled by default**).
💡 **NOTE**: These new functions/features should theoretically also work with other mods that add relics (but are not tested).

🎯 Origin of the module

Personally, when I was playing the **STS2Plus** mod and experiencing the endless mode, I encountered the problem of picking up too many **Circlets**, causing the relics to cover the entire screen and making the game unplayable. Therefore, this mod is designed to help avoid worrying about this problem altogether.

⚠️ IMPORTANT NOTE

  • **Button Reveal**: This button will **only** show up if your relics would normally wrap to the second row. So, if you don't get enough relics, it's completely normal to not see the button.
  • **Disclaimer**: This mod is vibe coded. If you don't like this approach, don't use this mod. It's that simple.

I've lightly tested the mod enough to confirm that it works. Hopefully there won't be any issues or bugs, but if they do, please let me know.

I can't think of anything else to add, but **feedback and suggestions** are always welcome and appreciated!

📥 Installation steps

  • Download the `HideRelicOverflow.rar` file.
  • Unzip the compressed package file.
  • Move the extracted `HideRelicOverflow` folder to the `mods` folder in the root directory of your STS2 game.
  • If the `mods` folder does not exist yet, create it first.
  • The correct path should be: `...\steamapps\common\Slay the Spire 2\mods`
  • Start the game.

Have fun in the Spire! 🏰

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
