Fix modular archive synchronization
✨ **Fixed a critical bug so that your modular saves can also be synced through Steam Cloud! **
🐛 Do I need this mod?
If you're not sure, the answer is probably **No**.
**You need this mod if:**
- You use mods
- **No** using mods like UnifiedSavePath
- When launching a modded game on a second device, it was found that **no** mod progress was synchronized at all.
💡 **Please note:** This mod does not affect the synchronization of original saves at all.
🔍 What is this bug?
In the original game (v0.99.1), although the modular archive will be uploaded to the Steam cloud, there is a key flag `IsRunningModded` that is set too late in the logic of downloading cloud data when the game starts. As a result, there is a high possibility that the modular archive data will not be downloaded and synchronized correctly.
⚠️ IMPORTANT WARNING: Your data will not be merged!
**No data merging process! **Local save and progress data will be **overwritten** by Steam cloud data.
Steam cloud saves the data of the computer that last launched the game.
**🚨 Please note before installation:** Before installing this mod, please launch the game once on the computer where you want to keep the save file.

💾 Make a backup
You can make a backup by copying the entire `modded` folder. If you accidentally overwrite an archive you want to keep, you can also look for the `.backup` file in this location to restore it.
**Windows Path:**
```
%APPDATA%\SlayTheSpire2\steam\\modded\
```
🔄 Use backup
**⚠️ NOTE: Please do not perform this operation if your device does not yet have the latest Steam Cloud data. **
After installing this mod, copy the backup data to the game's Steam cloud directory. The default path is as follows:
**Windows Path:**
```
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata\\2868840\remote\modded\
```
After the operation, Steam will ask you whether to keep remote or local data. Select **Keep local data**.
⚠️ **This will overwrite your game's local data. **

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
