🎮 **"Slay the Spire 2" - Fatal Doom Mod**

A new card has been added to the **Necromancer** profession in the game - **[Fatal Doom]**!

✨ Card Effect

This card is a game changer:

  • If the enemy would have died due to the "doom" effect, it will now die immediately at the end of your turn.
  • Instead of waiting until the end of the enemy's turn to die, as before.

This means you can more proactively control the rhythm of the battlefield and eliminate threats in advance!

📦 Installation Guide

The installation process is very simple:

  • **Unzip the file**: Unzip the downloaded ZIP file into your game `mods/` folder.
  • For example: `Steam\steamapps\common\Slay the Spire 2\mods\`
  • **Confirm files**: Make sure the `mods` folder contains the following three files:
  • `LethalDoom.dll`
  • `LethalDoom.pck`
  • `LethalDoom.json`
  • **Start the game**: Run the game, and when prompted to load the module, click **"Yes"**.

💾 Save Migration (Original → Modded Version)

If you want to transfer the save files of the original game to the mod version of the game:

  • Go to `%AppData%\SlayTheSpire2\steam`.
  • Open the folder named after your Steam ID.
  • Copy the archive folder you want to migrate (e.g. `profile1`).
  • Paste it into the corresponding location in the game for the mod save.

💡 **Tips**: If you want the modded version and the original game to share the same save directory, you can try using the **`UnifiedSavePath`** mod.

⚠️ Author's words

This is the first mod I've made that involves cards, so it may not be the most perfect in terms of game balance.
If you find any bugs that affect the game experience, please be sure to give me feedback, thank you very much!

About card art: The card patterns directly use the original cards in the game, and some color adjustments are made because the author himself is not good at painting.

Hopefully this new card will bring more strategy and fun to your journey with the Necrobinders! 😈

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
