Merchant Insults
✨ Module function
If you don't have enough gold coins to buy goods, the store owner will no longer be silent, but will give you a "friendly" greeting (insult)! This adds a touch of humor and realism to the game.

⚙️ Prerequisites
**IMPORTANT NOTE**: This module requires **BaseLib** as a pre-lib to run properly.
**Get and install BaseLib**:
- Go to the BaseLib GitHub release page and download the following three files:
- `BaseLib.dll`
- `BaseLib.pck`
- `BaseLib.json`
- Follow the general installation steps below to place the BaseLib file into the mod folder.
---
📥 Installation Guide
- Right-click "Slay the Spire 2" in the Steam library and select **Manage -> Browse local files**.
- In the opened folder, create a new folder named `mods` (if there is not one already).
- Unzip the "Merchant Insults" module zip package you downloaded (you should get a folder containing three files after unzipping).
- Drag the unzipped folder into the `mods` folder you just created.
**Warm Tips**: When you start the game after installing the mod for the first time, the system may ask you whether to run it in mod mode. In-game you can enable or disable this mod in **Settings -> General -> Mods**.

💾 Archive instructions
Please note that adding any mods to Slay the Spire 2 will mark the game as "modded" and use **separate save files** without affecting your original game saves.

🎮 Game experience

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
