Better Mod Menu
🎮 **A "Slay the Spire 2" UI enhancement tool that makes module management easy and enjoyable! **
✨ Core Functions
- **🛠️ UI Bug Fix**: Fixed a rendering issue in the original game where the mod list would visually overflow the menu window when a large number of mods were installed.
- **💾Mod Profiles**: Create, rename, delete and easily switch between custom mod loading schemes.
- **🗂️ Custom Grouping**: Organize mods into collapsible, user-defined named groups to keep your list organized.
- **🔘 Group switch**: Enable or disable all modules in a specific group with one click. Batch operation is super convenient.
- **🔄Mod Ordering**: Adjust the order in which modules are loaded in the game (execution priority) by moving them around.
- **💾 Auto-save**: The currently activated configuration file, custom grouping configuration and loading order will be automatically serialized and saved, no manual operation is required.
---
⚙️ Installation Guide
- **Download**: Download the module compressed package from the **Files** tab on this page.
- **Installation**: After unzipping, put the two files `BetterModMenu.json` and `BetterModMenu.dll` directly into the `mods` folder in your "Slay the Spire 2" game directory.
- **Verification**: Start the game, enter the in-game module management interface, and confirm that the module has been successfully loaded.

🎮 Instructions for use
**Manage configuration files**
In the top navigation bar of the in-game module management interface, you can:
- Click `+ New` to create a new profile.
- Click `Rename` to rename the currently active profile.
- Click `Del` to delete the current configuration file.
- *After selecting a different configuration file, you need to restart the game to apply the module state saved by this configuration. *
**Management Group**
Enter the group name in the `Group:` input box in the upper right corner of the interface, and then click the `+ Add` button to create a new custom group.
**Assignment Module**
Next to each mod entry there is a drop-down menu that you can use to assign the mod to a specific custom group, or leave it in an "unassigned" state.
**Reorder Mod**
Click the `^` (move up) or `v` (move down) button on a module entry to adjust the module's priority in the game's loading order.
**💡 Tip**: When using custom grouping, the move operation is performed against the underlying global list. If a grouped mod doesn't visually move immediately, keep clicking the Move button until it moves past adjacent mods in the global list.

**🎯 Usage Suggestions**: Highly recommended for players who have multiple mods installed! Through group management, you can create exclusive configuration files for different gameplays (such as "balance adjustment", "appearance beautification", "high difficulty challenge"), switch with one click, save time and effort, and make your modding experience never so refreshing!
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
