Requirements and compatibility
No other mods or DLC are required to use this mod, it's fully compatible with all my mods.
It may be incompatible with other mods that modify Half Moon Mill and the surrounding area.
It seems to conflict with mods that change Tamriel's world space. For example, TES5Edit will show a conflict between this mod and USLEEP; this is because both mods edit areas in Tamriel world space, but in reality these changes will not conflict.
Place this mod lower in your load order than any mods that may conflict with it to avoid any issues.
What does this house have...
The player's home is Silverglade. It has three areas: exterior, main room and cellar. The house is designed to be similar to a hunter's home, using only Skyrim - Vanilla assets. If you haven't already, I recommend downloading the Static Mesh Improvement Mod.
In the outer area you will find:
- A hut containing x1 chest, x3 barrels, x3 sacks, x1 alchemist's bag and an alchemy workbench
- An extra x1 bucket and x3 sacks
- a tannery rack
- A blacksmith's workbench
- a whetstone
-A functional archery range that improves your archery skills while shooting
- A wooden cutting board with a built-in woodcutter's ax (so you don't need to carry it around)
- Option to lock Silverglade's front door as long as you have the key
In the main room you will find:
- x1 bed
- x1 cabinet, x3 buckets, x13 bags and x3 drawers
- cooking equipment
- x2 weapon racks, x1 shield
- x4 switchable candles
- Craftable fireplace that lights up a room and allows cooking for a period of time (requires x2 firewood)
- Dynamic wood piles that grow or shrink based on the amount of firewood stored
In the basement you will find:
- x1 chest
- x1 mannequin
- x1 security (this is unlocked using the Silverglade master key and automatically locked on shutdown)
- x2 cellar storage piles (these are for random loot you don't want to store upstairs)
- x1 switchable candle
The house has nothing...
Originally, Silverglade was owned by hunters (see the New Quest section below). Therefore, the house is decorated with hunting trophies and contains everything a hunter needs. It does not include some of the common things one sees in a player's home and is designed for the player's convenience. Of particular note is that this module does not contain:
- Forge or anvil
- Smelter
- Charming bench
- exhibit
cabinet
- Stable - Bookshelf
- shrine
- bakery
- Agriculture, fishing and beekeeping options
- spare bed
- Script allows spouse or adopted children to live here
I have a good reason why I took all this stuff away. Silverglade is not an ultimate player's house, Dragonborn has ev …
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
