About this mod Machine translation

Improved technology from mod Predators - The Lost Tribes to make it more balanced, useful and fun.

〜INTRO〜

_________

Do you love Predator?

Have you ever played Skyrim's Predator race mod?

Do you want this technology to make you feel like a real trophy hunter hiding in plain sight and really working like in a movie or game?

Well, that might be the mod for you, although I can't guarantee perfection...

____________

This mod makes some fundamental changes to the way technology works in Predator - The Lost Tribe

For starters, instead of being automatically triggered when you equip the mask, the invisibility ability is now toggleable and dependent on the wrist device.

Masks now give you viewing modes, depending on the level of mask upgrade and type, you can get up to 3 different loopable modes on the same mask.

When an item is equipped, whether it's a glove or a mask, it gives the player "minor power," which acts as a button to use the equipment's functions.

~CLOAKING~ Invisibility

Features are now fully available. If you've ever pushed the original mod and tested its limits, you may have noticed that this masking is completely useless because enemies can always see you no matter what you do. Well, it works now. There are still 2 cover modes, one is true stealth mode and the other is just disguise which makes you harder to detect (because of the muffler) but you will still be seen.

True invisibility:

-Get killed while striking an enemy, casting a spell, or doing almost nothing

Disabled - Recast immediately after this disabling action.

-If you take a hit, swim, or perform a powerful attack, you will be disabled for a longer period of time (the goal is to be as close to "invisible" as possible while still being able to retreat during combat) if you want to,

It's not perfect and is still a bit overpowered, but at least if you're constantly charging/getting hit by enemies in combat you'll usually remain visible. If you want to retreat, you can stay away from the battle and you will disappear for the enemy. ~View Mode~

Most modes allow you to detect entities with glowing auras based on creature type.

There are basically 5 types of view filters:

~Heat: As seen in the movie; detects live warm-blooded enemies as well as undead in a large area (emits a blue glow)

~ Targeting System: A copper-toned viewing mode that detects creatures by assessing their hostile capabilities, distinguishing between enemies, hostile and active combatants.

~EM Vision: A green filter that detects mechanical enemies and creatures using certain technologies.

~Bererk: A reddish filter that detects everything at short distances

~Xeno Vision: Features a wide range of grayscale view modes to detect Xenomorphs

All masks come with up to 3 filters, depending on the upgrade level of the mask (MK1-2 -3)

The cycle progress types are as follows:

Thermal> Targetting> EM
Berserk> Thermal> Xeno
Xeno>Detection> EM
Hot>Xeno>EM~

Install~

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
