About this mod Machine translation
Just a character preset that allows Chesko's belt-mounted quiver animation and XPMSE to work together. Appropriate compromise.
XPMSE/Belt-Mounted Flutter Solution Presets I don't know about any of you, but I've always wanted to use Chesko's belt-mounted flutter and XPMSE together without conflict. The conflict is that, unfortunately, both BFQ and XPMSE are skeleton mods. This forces you to choose between a belt fastening quiver or a mod that requires a different skeleton mod (like BBB animations). So I offer a simple compromise in the form of a preset! Requirements: 1: Apparently a legitimate version of Skyrim. 2: SKSE 1.7.3+3: Racemenu 3.4.5+ 4: FNIS 7.5+5: XPMSE 4.71+6: Fixed belt quiver (You only need the standalone animation, no master file)
Install:
1: You can manually place the presets into the presets folder located at "Skyrim\Data\SKSE\Plugins\CharGen\Presets".
or
2: Mod Manager, such as Vortex or MO. I set up the mod to be easy to install from any manager you like.
The preset is just the default female Nord with appropriate vibrato adjustments. The only known issue I've seen is that the quiver can sometimes clip directly onto the butt or hover over the butt. Unfortunately this is a bug with the armor, body and animation mods. As presets, the settings can be changed as needed to suit your preferences. I also noticed that once a preset is loaded with this adjustment, if I load another preset without any dither adjustments, the adjustments will remain. If this works for you, it should make it easier for you to save it to any character preset you wish to use it for.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
