Reconstruction of Chinagreenelvis' women's pants mod
I really like Chinagreenelvis' women's pants mod and wanted to try making some new textures for it! I'm very bad at taking screenshots, but basically they look more like vanilla costumes now. Different pants, belts and shirts all have varying degrees of dirtiness.
I did some editing in Photoshop using Kobayashi345's 2X Clothing Remix, made some (hopefully passable) normal maps in CrazyBump, and updated the mesh in Nifskope. It's not perfect, but at 3am I doubt I'll ever go back to this.
If anything goes wrong, please let us know - you're welcome to edit it yourself. I have included all the PSD files in a zipped folder under Data>Textures>Clothes>FemalePants,
Women's pants replace five female clothing stand-ins based on the miner's clothing style. It also changes the names of these clothing items to:
Farm Clothes (Farm Clothes 03 variant) – 6C1DA
Field Clothes (Farm Clothes 02 Variant) - 6C1D9
Merchant's Clothes (Merchant Clothes variant) - 6FF45
Farmer Clothing (Farm Clothing 04 variant) – 6C1D8
Traveler's Fine Clothes (Fine Clothes 02 variant) - F8715
They can be found in Skyrim, in default locations, as loot and in various roles, just like normal clothes. These are just color variants that replace the dresses - the original female costumes are still in the game, so you can still choose to wear a skirt if you want, and most female characters in the game still wear them.
The texture is 2048x2048. Based on Karmoth's Noble Female Clothes mod.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
