About this mod Machine translation

This mod provides a small player base for the mage character near Riverwood. (It kind of avoids conflicts.) It's completely decked out with static items and custom grids, really ditching the wizard vibe. In order to obtain the home, you must complete the Embershard Mine Dungeon, and now there are more bandits making things harder.

This mod is standalone, it does not require other mods. To use this mod manually, simply open the file in Skyrim's Data folder.

It always pisses me off that new people will be homeless because of the cost of buying a home for so long. There are mods that can add small starter houses, but they are usually free and very large, which I really don't like. Also, even the ones you buy them from offer them cheaply, but it takes a few missions before you can afford it, and you usually need that money for gear. Also, surprisingly I didn't find a satisfactory starter home for a mage. Since the dungeons are small but difficult to get to home, I feel like this mod can alleviate all of these problems.

The house is a bit minimalist in size but comes with everything an elf could think of, from a charming alchemy station to even four magic-related gloomy stones!

In order to obtain the home, you must complete the Embershard Mine Dungeon, and now there are more bandits making things harder. There you can find the keys and a note from the previous owner. Then move on, it's yours! It even comes with map markers.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
