About this mod Machine translation
Added a small player to Bloated Man's Grotto. Compatible with Hearthfire Multiple Adoptions mod. Requires all DLC.
Bloated Man's Grotto is ideally located between Whiterun and Rorikstead. I figured this would be the perfect place for my Dragonborn to settle down and trade with passers-by, and since I couldn't find another mod, I went to figure out how to make one myself. After doing all this work I decided I didn't want this to be just a personal mod, so I released it.
feature:
Compatible with Hearthfire Multiple Adoptions, sleeps 2 children and spouse, and that’s it. This is not a big house.
As friendly as possible while still being beautifully decorated.
Specifically stores letters and documents, books, armor, weapons, soul gems, ingredients, potions and food.
Alchemy Corner and fascinating place. There is also an oven.
Mara's functional shrine. I find Cure All Disease and +10% Heal useful as a Restoration Mage. I also cleared out Talos' secret shrine at the back of the area.
A small vegetable garden.
shortcoming:
You cannot complete the Ill Met By Moonlight quest. This isn't a drawback to me since I don't care about that quest in my game, but some of you werewolves out there may disagree. I didn't test installing this mod after completing the mission, but I don't think it would be wise (the zones are different after that, and I don't know how good this would be for the mod).
No display. I'm the kind of person who just keeps all my loot in storage and doesn't like displaying my large collection of rare artifacts and gear, so this mod reflects that. Mannequins scare me too.
Not fake. It's more of a family home for the nerdy mage (that's my character). I actually originally added the entire forge area, but I felt like it ruined the feel of the main cleanup. If there's a lot of interest, I may add one to a different part of the area in a future update.
Children don't play hide and seek. I can't figure out why. Markers were placed, markers and everything, but they wouldn't go to them. This doesn't break anything, but it's still annoying. I'll update if I figure out how to fix it.
You can fast travel to the house, but not from it. You must exit the grotto. Again, I don't know why. I have fast travel in the area, so I'm as confused as the next person. I'll update another thing if possible.

Simply download using Vortex or place the included files directly into your data folder. Disable esp or delete the files to be uninstalled.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
