About this mod Machine translation
White Feather Mountain Arms.
This mod takes the shipwreck of Helraz Folly and adds my own personal items Blackrazor, Wave, Whelm and Obsidian.
The Blackrazor comes in both a sword and a sword version, as it is a half-sword.
Instead of draining on each hit, it has 5 hp of drain that lasts 5 seconds.
Wave is a set of tridents that can use a battle ax slot. If you are using the spear animations mod, it is tagged with the keyword spear.
It has a cold damage effect since I couldn't find a submersion effect to apply to weapon damage.
The Whelm is a one-handed dwarf (D&D Dwarven, not Dwemer Dwarven) warhammer that uses a mace slot.
It has a staggered effect.
Obsidian is the bow of Obsidian, yes I know, that was the original name I added to WPM in late '83 or early '84. I feel compelled to continue including it here even though it's not present in the original module.
It has no effects applied so it can be used immediately.
Technical Note:
There is an older version of Whelm in the meshs folder, based on my iron Bec De Corbin from Bob's Armory. If you are like me and hate the look of Whelm, you can rename the BAK replacement Whelm to Whelm and override it.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
