About this mod Machine translation

This mod adds the new Werelizard model as a playable werewolf form to Mod: Moonlight Legend - Werewolf and Werewolf Essentials

Introduction

As someone who loves Argonian games and plays them primarily, the content of the Werewolf games has always been immersive for me. When I found the mod Wrath of Nature - Champions of Kynareth on and saw the mod's Decay model, I immediately thought that this would be an ideal model for the Argonian 'Werewolf'.

feature

Added the Werelizard model to the Core Options > Appearance section of Moonlight Tales (E) MCM

By default, 9 different looks can be selected (via the "Fur" selector, all other selectors are currently unselectable)

9 custom skin options that users can easily replace with their own custom textures

Installation and compatibility

Download and install Moonlight Tales Essentials (follow the installation instructions there).

Download the version of this mod that matches your installed version of Moonlight Tales Essentials (see the file description for details).

Install using any Mod Manager (overwrite files).

[Optional] If required, download and install (overwrite) the provided compatibility patch.

Make sure to place Brevi_MoonlightTalesEssentials_Werecreatures_Addon.esp after Brevi_MoonlightTalesEssentials.esp in the load order.

Play.

Not compatible with Moonlight Tales, but I have published a similar add-on for this mod, see the My Other Mods section below.

Incompatible with modules that override MTE_Quest_MCMScript.pex and Brevi_MoonlightTalesEssentials.esp (unless a patch is available).

Compatibility is otherwise the same as Moonlight Tales Essentials

Replace custom texture

Go to your \Skyrim\Data\Textures\MoonlightTales\Scales directory.

Overwrite any lizard_customX.dds and lizard_customX_n.dds files (the "X" represents 1 to 9) with a regular dragon texture (no Alduin or Sahrotaar textures).

Launch the game and select the Werelizard model in the Moonlight Legend (M) MCM > Core Options > Appearance section.

Now, using the Select Hair selector, you can select the "custom" texture you want (assuming the waslizard model is currently selected as well).

Optional:

Go into the \Skyrim\Data\Interface\Translations directory and search for all files starting with "Brevi_MoonlightTalesEssentials_Werecreatures_Addon".

Use any text editor to open the translation file for the language you use in the game (for example, for English speakers, use "Brvi_MoonlightTalesEssentials_Werecreatures_Addon_ENGLISH.txt").

CustomX simply replaces the text of the custom texture you just replaced (the "X" represents 1 to 9) with the information you want to display in the MCM.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
