About this mod Machine translation
Add a craftable, wearable travel lantern that can be worn on your belt or held in your hand! Torchbug Lanterns, minion support and more!
The Wearable Lantern is the definitive wearable lantern for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim.
Add a craftable, wearable travel lantern that can be worn on your belt or carried with you. Grab a torch in an empty torch lantern and let it illuminate the dark dungeon while keeping your hands free during combat and adventure. If you have Dragonborn installed, you can also make paper lanterns.
If Campfire is installed, you can use the Survival Skill: Create items to make travel and paper lanterns, and use lantern oil as tinder for your campfire.
The placement of the lantern on the belt is inspired by The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess. It also foreshadows Dragon's Dogma's visual style. You can change the way lanterns are used and toggled (kept or worn) using the SkyUI Mod configuration menu.
The wearable lantern supports keyboard and gamepad control. Press a hotkey, or hold the control button for a second or longer (using, sprinting, or preparing a weapon) to turn the lantern on or off and check remaining lantern fuel. 50 Best Skyrim Mods for PC Gamer
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
